Account and Data Deletion Request

At CatchIT, we respect your right to control your personal data. This policy describes how you can request the deletion of your personal data from our systems and how we process such requests.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your account and personal data from CatchIT, simply follow these steps:

1. Log in to your CatchIT account
2. Navigate to the "Settings" section of your account
3. Look for the "Delete account" option at the bottom of the page
4. Confirm your decision by following the on-screen instructions

Deletion Process

Once you request account deletion:

1. Your account will be marked for deletion
2. Your account access will be immediately deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in
3. Your data will be completely deleted from our systems within 30 days
4. Once the deletion process is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address associated with your account

Data That Will Be Deleted

When processing your deletion request, we will delete:

• Your user profile and account information
• Your login data
• Content you have created or uploaded to the platform
• Your preferences and settings
• Activity and usage history

Data That Will Be Retained

Some data may be retained after your account deletion for the following reasons:

• Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Information necessary to comply with legal obligations
• Security and Fraud Prevention: Anonymized data for security analysis
• Backups: Your data may remain in our encrypted backup systems until these backups are overwritten according to our regular retention cycle (generally 90 days)

Retention Period

Data we retain for legal or security reasons will be kept only for as long as necessary to fulfill these obligations, after which it will be permanently deleted or anonymized.

Impact of Deletion

Please note that deleting your account:

• Is permanent and cannot be undone
• Will result in the loss of access to all content and services associated with your account
• Will result in the loss of pieces you have created for users who have collected them
• Will remove your participation in the Creator Program, if applicable
• Will cancel any active subscriptions (refunds will be processed according to our refund policy)
